The Hot Shot 360T has been designed to be a stand alone tempering or annealing oven. The 360T runs off of a 15amp-120v circuit and reaches a maximum temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Built to last with the highest quality components and Hot Shot's cool to the touch technology.
Hot Shot Oven & Kilns are equipped with Cool-Touch Technology that provide a safe external temperature to allow for safer operation and protection of its surroundings. Having a cool oven allows for your shop to stay cool too. We all know Machine Shops can get hot from all of the equipment running, this oven will not add to that! Keep your shop cool while Heat Treating!
All Hot Shot ovens come standard with a solid state relay. Having a solid state relay eliminates the distractive clicking noise that a mechanical relay makes. A solid state relay is also more dependable and provides a longer life expectancy than that of a mechanical relay.
With no moving parts, this relay is able to be triggered up to 60 times a second as opposed to the upper limit of 10 times a second on the default mechanical relay. This means incredibly tight temperature control ensuring each and every one of your firings is as accurate as possible.
The Quiet Drive uses a special method call "Zero Crossing" that will ensure that the heating elements are off when the voltage is at 0V - Giving your heating elements a break so that they will last longer, and you'll save energy!
The best part though? Since there are no moving parts - the Quiet Drive Solid State relay should never need replacing! You will save money and time by never needing to worry about this in the future!
Each unit comes standard with an integrated alarm that can be set to alert the user when a desired point or temperature is reached in the program.
We also have integrated a safety door switch that will de-energize the heating element when the door is open.
The N20K48 series of PID (proportional–integral–derivative controller) temperature controllers have been designed for non-experienced novice users for combining extreme simplicity in operation with quality performance found in expensive high-end controllers.
The Novus N20K48 can be operated by simply turning on the oven and setting the temperature needed or you can download the free Novus Quicktune App to be able to program the controller more easily via your phone/tablet. The controller can also be programmed by using the onboard buttons and a series of key presses. The Novus N20K48 controller is limited to only storing 20 programs at a time with a max of 9 segments per program.
